School Sport Australia (SSA) is seeking applications from registered teachers and/ or Education Department staff for two international tour official positions for the Australian Football Tour to New Zealand from 1 – 12 March, 2018.
The positions are:
- Team Manager – Boys
- Sports Trainer
The cost for officials is anticipated to be $2,000 (to be confirmed). Further details regarding costs and the itinerary are available from the Australian Football National Secretary, Peter Della-Vedova via mobile phone on 0418 900 453 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications are to be submitted using the appropriate attached form to the SSA Office via email at email@example.com. One form is for the Team Manager position whilst the other form is for the Sports Trainer position.
Please note that SSA is not seeking applications for the Tour Leader, Coach and Assistant Coach positions as applications were received for these roles by the original due date of 7 July 2017.
When applying please ensure that all components of an application are completed, including the completion of all information on the application form; supply of responses to the key selection criteria; evidence of required documentation (e.g. teacher registration, coaching qualification, first aid qualifications, sports trainer qualifications); endorsement of the applicant’s School Principal / Education Department Manager; and endorsement from the relevant SSA State or Territory organisation. Applications will not be considered unless all required information is supplied.
Applications strictly close at 5:00 PM (AEST) on Tuesday, 18 July 2017. If suitable applications are not received for the positions then as per SSA international programs policy the tour will be cancelled.
